Eagles delighted after ending Benin’s 8 years unbeaten home run – Agu

Super Eagles can achieve better results – Ahmed Musa

Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu has stated that the Nigeria senior national team were particularly delighted amidst other reasons following the weekend’s 1-0 win against the Squirrels to end the eight year unbeaten record of the Benin republic men National team.

Agu speaking in a chat with brila.net after the team returned home said the win was huge and massive especially after the collective hard work of the players which earned the team the result.

“To God be the glory we expected it and everybody worked towards it and it was a great success, you know Benin has not lost a game here for the past eight years so it was a history and a grand finally for the Super Eagles to come in here and break that jinx.”
