The award-winning radio personality Lerato Kganyago has taken to her social media reveals that she will be sharing sanitary pads with school girls to help stop period poverty. In a post she shared on her Twitter account, Lerato Kganyago revealed that all she stands for is ending period poverty one day at a time.
She further revealed in another post that over 300 million women and girls worldwide menstruate every day, and millions can’t afford to maintain menstrual health. They are fortunate to play a role in the curb of period poverty in South Africa, one home at a time.
