Mzansi Celebs Pay Heartfelt Tribute To Kaya FM’s DJ 1D aka Wandi Nzimand


Mzansi art industry is in mourning after yet another loss of an integral member. Kaya FM yesterday confirmed the death of famous Dj and businessman Wandi Nzimand.

The disk jockey has been at the radio station for over a decade now. His death comes as a big loss to the entertainment industry. Many mzansi celebs flocked to social media since the news broke to pen down their tribute messages to the celebrated icon. Media personality Thembisa Nxumalo was one of the celebs who was really shattered at her friend’s death and took to social media to make her sorrows felt.

For the last @CherryFilmFest, @Dj1D chose to leave a day later so he can pick me up because I was shooting the day we were all supposed to leave. He spoke of all the things he wanted to do for his wife, this industry, his family, himself.
